Kendle Buffington is a graduate of Potomac Horse Center and Pen-y-Bryn Equestrian Center. At Pen-y-Bryn Equestrian Center, she successfully completed the Instructors Program under the watchful eye of Jeremy and Jan Beale. She has also collaborated with Michael Bragdell from Hilltop Farms with the training of several of her young horses.

Kendle has been successfully training her own horses for years, and takes pride in her ability to bring her animals to their full potential. She has earned both her USDF Rider Performance Awards for Training Level and First Level in one season on her home bred mare, Remora. Remora has earned her USDF Horse Performance Award for Training Level and is only two scores away from her First Level award. Remora is schooling and beginning to show at Second Level this year. Kendle has shown successfully at Dressage at Devon in the in hand classes. She also rode in the Four-year-old and Older Mares Under Saddle class, where she placed 8th out of a field of 40.

Kendle believes variety is the key to training young horses and she incorporates hacking, jumping and dressage into her training programs. There are no short cuts taken and considerable time and effort is put into helping the young horse reach their full performance level, be it a three day eventer, dressage, or a pleasure horse. Kendle's diverse riding background gives her an advantage in the young horse training community. Each training program is customized to meet the individual needs and potential of each young horse.
